We went to Forest Flying for the experience of taking the zip line through the rainforest. We both loved it. There is a practice line and then two lines through different scenes. Also, the owners are very much in touch with the area and the land, pointing out different plants and even gave us some fresh tumeric that they grow, which we have really enjoyed. The first line goes through the rainforest and has a stream running below. The second line goes through more forest and you can see a colony of flying foxes up close. We were encouraged to take our time, which we did, using the brake to slow down or stop and look at different things. All in all, a great experience, and we also appreciated information on Finch Hatton Gorge, where we went afterwards for a lovely walk and swim at Araluen Cascade.
